Just yesterday while doing OPD, I met a young girl. She was suffering from chronic musculoskeletal pain since 5 years. She consulted many specialists and took all the medications they advised. But, over the time she forgot to smile and how to be happy. This made her slip into depression.

What she needed was not just medication but also some advice on how to improve her mental health. Depression is a common mental disorder. Globally, it is estimated that 5% of adults suffer from depression. This incident made me realise that I need to share a couple of everyday habits for metal well being.
